About Unified Home Care

Unified Home Care provides support to people in their own homes across Cambridge and Cambridgeshire. We work with older people and younger adults, people living with dementia or a mental health condition, people with a learning disability or autism, and people with a physical disability. What we do is practical. Visits cover personal care, support with medication, meals and drinks, help with the house and the shopping, and support to get out to appointments or simply out of the front door. We agree the pattern with the person and with their family where they want that, then we adjust it as things change, because needs seldom hold still. Covering a county means being reliable about timing. People arrange their day around when we said we would arrive, so we take the rota seriously and we ring ahead when something has slipped. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us requires improvement overall. We are not going to write around that.
