About Strawberry Fields

We are a home care agency based in Cambridge, and we support people in their own homes across the city and the surrounding parts of Cambridgeshire. Staying at home is what most people want, and our job is to make that possible for as long as it sensibly can be. The support we provide is arranged around what each person actually needs. For some that is a short visit in the morning to help with washing, dressing and breakfast. For others it is several calls a day covering personal care, medication, meals and the practical business of keeping a household running. We support older people, people living with dementia, people managing a mental health condition, people with a visual or hearing impairment, and younger adults who want to live independently with the right help in place. We try hard to keep the same small group of carers visiting the same people. Consistency is what turns a care visit into a relationship, and it is also what means someone notices when a person is not quite themselves. Our carers are trained for the work they are asked to do and are supported properly by the office team. Before anything begins we visit, talk things through with the person and with family if they want that, and agree a plan together. Please contact us if you would like to discuss support.
