About Reliance Care Services

Reliance Care provides support in people's own homes in Cambridge and across Cambridgeshire. Our aim is to give people enough help to keep living where they want to live, delivered by carers they know and at the times they have agreed. We visit older people needing assistance with washing, dressing, meals and medication, and people living with dementia, where familiar faces and a settled routine matter more than almost anything else we could offer. We support adults who have a learning disability, autistic adults, people with a physical disability, including safe help with moving and transfers, people whose sight or hearing is impaired and younger adults needing support to live independently. We keep teams small around each person on purpose. It spares people from constantly meeting strangers, and it means our carers know somebody well enough to spot when they are not themselves. Care begins with a home visit and an unhurried conversation about what would genuinely help. The plan is agreed with the person and reviewed as things change.
