About Future Care Solutions

Future Care Solutions provides care and support in people's own homes across Cambridge and the surrounding parts of Cambridgeshire. Home is where most people would rather be, and our work is to keep that a safe and realistic option. We visit older people and younger adults, with packages ranging from a single short call each day to substantial support built around complex needs. Visits cover personal care, medication, meals, shopping, laundry and household tasks, and often company as well. We support people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people managing mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities and people with sight or hearing loss. Each asks something different of us in how we communicate, how we pace a visit and how we plan for the harder days. Continuity of carer is something we build into the rota rather than hope for. Our carers are trained for the needs of the people they actually visit and are properly supervised once they are in post, and we keep families informed while decisions stay with the person themselves. At our most recent inspection the Care Quality Commission rated us outstanding. That reflects the daily work of the team rather than anything written down.
