About Dream Home Care
We are Dream Home Care, based in Wembley and supporting people in their own homes across Brent and the surrounding boroughs. We work with older people and people living with dementia, adults with a learning disability and autistic adults, people with a physical disability or a visual or hearing impairment, and younger adults who need support to live independently. Brent is a mixed and busy place, and the households we visit reflect that. We take time to understand how a particular family does things, what matters to them culturally and practically, and how they would like us to fit around their household. Care that ignores all of that tends not to last long, whatever is written in the plan. Support ranges from a short daily visit through to several calls covering personal care, medication, meals, laundry and help getting out and about. Wherever a person can still do something themselves, we support them to carry on rather than taking it over on their behalf. We work hard at continuity and reliability, because a rota that sends a different stranger every few days is not really care. Our carers are trained for the work they do, properly supervised, and backed by an office that answers the phone. Our most recent CQC overall rating is good.
