About Aynsley Care Centre
Here at Aynsley Care Centre, we are a residential care home based in Wallasey, on the Wirral, and we are proud to be a place where the people who live with us genuinely feel at home. We support a range of individuals, including older people, those living with dementia, younger adults, and people who need a shorter stay through respite care. Whatever brings someone to us, we try to make sure they are met with warmth, respect, and a real effort to understand who they are as a person, not just what care they need. Dementia care is something we take particularly seriously. We know how much it matters to families when a loved one is living with dementia, and we work hard to create an environment that feels calm, familiar, and reassuring. We take time to learn each person's history, preferences, and routines, because that knowledge shapes everything about how we support them day to day. For those joining us on a respite basis, whether for a planned break or in response to a sudden change in circumstances, we aim to make the transition as smooth and comfortable as possible. A short stay should still feel settled and supportive, and we do our best to make sure it does. We are honest about where we are as a service. Our most recent CQC rating reflects areas where we know we need to do better, and we are actively working through those improvements. We do not shy away from that. What we can say is that the commitment across our team to getting things right for the people in our care is genuine, and we are making progress. If you would like to find out more or come and have a look around, we would be very happy to hear from you.
