About White Lodge Care Home
Here at White Lodge Care Home in Marlow, we provide residential and dementia care for older people, as well as support for those living with physical disabilities. We also offer respite care for individuals who need short term support, or whose families and carers need a period of rest. We know that choosing a care home is one of the most significant decisions a family can make, and we do not take that responsibility lightly. Our aim is to make White Lodge feel like a genuine home, not just a place where care is delivered. We want the people who live here to feel comfortable, respected and as independent as possible in their day to day lives. Our team works hard to understand each resident as an individual. That means taking the time to learn about their history, their preferences and what matters most to them, so that the care we provide fits around the person rather than the other way around. For those living with dementia, we are particularly mindful of the importance of routine, familiarity and calm, and we work closely with families to ensure continuity across every aspect of a resident's life. We want to be straightforward with prospective residents and their families. Our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection resulted in a rating of requires improvement, and we have taken that seriously. We have been working through the areas identified and making meaningful changes, and we are committed to continuing that progress. We believe in being honest about where we are, while also being clear that the wellbeing of our residents remains at the centre of everything we do. If you would like to find out more about life at White Lodge, we warmly encourage you to get in touch or come and visit us in Marlow.
