About Edith Road (Tregona)
Here at Edith Road, we are a residential care home based in Maidenhead, Windsor and Maidenhead, supporting younger adults who have learning disabilities and autism. We also offer respite care, providing short term support for individuals and giving their families and carers some well deserved breathing space. We know that moving into a care home, or even just visiting for a short stay, can feel like a big step. Our aim is to make sure that everyone who comes through our door feels genuinely at home, respected, and listened to. We take the time to understand each person as an individual, learning what matters to them, what they enjoy, and how they like to go about their day. Support is built around the person, not the other way around. Day to day life at Edith Road is built on routine, familiarity, and choice. We believe that people thrive when they feel secure and when they have real say in how they live. Whether that means pursuing interests and hobbies, staying connected with family and the wider community, or simply having a quiet and comfortable space to call their own, we work hard to make that possible. We are proud to hold a Good rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the effort and commitment that everyone here puts in. It means a great deal to us, though we never see it as a reason to stop improving. We are always looking at how we can do better and how we can make life here as fulfilling as possible for the people we support. If you would like to find out more about Edith Road, whether for yourself, a family member, or someone you support professionally, we would be very happy to have a conversation.
