Our team works with older adults, younger adults, people living with a learning disability or autism, those experiencing mental health difficulties, and individuals who need support with alcohol or drug misuse. We also offer respite care for those who need a shorter stay, whether to give a family carer some breathing space or to help someone through a particular period in their life. We understand that choosing a care home is one of the most significant decisions a person or family can make, and we do not take that lightly. From the moment someone gets in touch with us, we try to make the process feel straightforward and human. We take time to understand each person as an individual, not just their care needs, but their routines, their preferences, their history and the things that matter to them day to day. Our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated us as Good, which reflects the effort our whole team puts in to making Holmhurst a genuinely comfortable and supportive place to live. We are always looking at how we can do things better, and we encourage residents and their families to share their views with us openly.
