About Palmarium
At Palmarium, we provide residential care for adults in the heart of Calne, Wiltshire, and we take real pride in the home we have built together as a team and as a community. We support a range of individuals, including younger adults, people with learning disabilities or autism, and those living with visual or hearing impairments. We also offer respite care for people who need a short break or whose families need some time to rest, knowing their loved one is in safe and familiar hands. Our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated us as Good, and that matters to us not as a badge to display but as a reflection of the day to day care we provide. We work hard to maintain that standard and to keep improving wherever we can. What we try to do above all else is make Palmarium feel like home. That means listening to the people who live here, understanding their routines, their preferences, and what makes them feel comfortable and respected. Care looks different for each person, and we do not believe in a one size fits all approach. Some people need a great deal of support; others simply need a little help and the reassurance that someone is there when it counts. We also know how much it means to families to feel confident in the place their relative calls home. We welcome that involvement and aim to be open and communicative with everyone connected to the people in our care. If you are exploring options for yourself or someone you care about, we would always encourage you to come and visit us. There is no better way to get a true sense of who we are and how we work than to walk through the door and see it for yourself.
