About Cabot House
Here at Cabot House, we provide residential care for people in the heart of Crawley, West Sussex. Our home supports adults with learning disabilities, autism and physical disabilities, and we also welcome younger adults who need a place where they can feel genuinely at home rather than simply looked after. We know that choosing a care home is one of the most significant decisions a person or their family will ever make, and we take that responsibility seriously. Our team works hard to understand each person as an individual, building support around their needs, routines and preferences rather than expecting people to fit around us. Whether someone moves in with us permanently or comes to us for a short respite stay, we want them to feel comfortable and respected from the very first day. Respite care is something we offer with real care and thought. We understand that a short break needs to feel just as settled and reassuring as a longer stay, so we take time to prepare properly and make sure each person is welcomed properly when they arrive. We are proud to have received a rating of "good" from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the commitment our staff bring to their work every single day. It is something we are pleased about, though we never see it as a reason to stand still. We are always looking at how we can improve and respond better to the people who live with us. If you would like to find out more about Cabot House or come and have a look around, we would be very happy to hear from you. We are always happy to talk through how we might be able to support you or your loved one and answer any questions you might have.
