About Collyhurst
Here at Collyhurst, we are a residential care home based in Bedworth, Warwickshire, and we are proud to be part of this local community. We support older people across a range of needs, including residential care, dementia care, physical disability and respite care, and we work hard to make sure each person who comes through our doors feels genuinely at home. We know that choosing a care home, whether for yourself or someone you love, is one of the most significant decisions a family can make. We do not take that responsibility lightly. Our team takes the time to get to know each resident as an individual, understanding their routines, preferences and personal history, so that the support we provide fits around their life rather than the other way around. For those living with dementia, we aim to create a calm, familiar environment where people feel safe and understood. We recognise that dementia affects everyone differently, and we tailor our approach accordingly. For those who come to us for a shorter respite stay, we hope that time spent with us offers both the resident and their loved ones genuine peace of mind. We are transparent about where we are as a service. Our most recent CQC rating is "requires improvement", and we want to be honest about that. We have been actively working through the feedback received and making real, practical changes. We believe accountability matters, and we would rather show our commitment through action than simply reassure people with words. If you would like to find out more about Collyhurst, or if you would like to arrange a visit to see us for yourself, we would be very glad to hear from you. We are always happy to answer questions and help families feel confident in the choices they are making.
