About The Pines
The Pines in Weybridge is a residential care home supporting older people and younger adults with a wide range of needs, including people with a learning disability, autistic adults, people living with mental health conditions or an eating disorder, people with a physical disability, people with sight or hearing loss and people dealing with alcohol or drug misuse. Supporting that range under one roof works only if every person's support is planned individually and staff are trained for the needs they actually support. That is how we run the home. We take time at the start to learn how somebody likes their day to go, what they manage themselves, where help is genuinely wanted and what tends to make things difficult. Support ranges from full help with personal care and moving safely through to prompting and encouragement while somebody does things for themselves. Communication gets close attention, because a choice is only a choice if it has been understood. People here are supported to have a life beyond the building, keeping up interests and activities, getting out locally and staying in touch with family and friends. Respite stays can be arranged where appropriate. If you are looking for a placement or a short stay, please contact us and come and see the home.
