About Nower House
Here at Nower House, we are a residential care home situated in the heart of Dorking, Surrey, and we take genuine pride in the community we have built together with our residents, their families, and our team. We support a wide range of people, including older adults, younger adults, and those living with dementia or a physical disability. We also welcome individuals with visual or hearing impairments, and we offer respite care for those who need a short term stay, whether to recover, rest, or simply try us out before making a longer term decision. Whatever brings someone through our door, we work hard to make sure they feel at home from the very first day. Our approach is straightforward. We do not see that as a ceiling though. There is always more we can learn and ways we can improve, and that honest reflection is part of how we operate. Nower House is a place where people are known by name, where a familiar face is never far away, and where the small things, a favourite biscuit with morning tea, a walk in the garden, a good conversation, are treated as just as important as the clinical side of care.
