About Greenacres
Here at Greenacres, we are a residential care home based in Sudbury, Suffolk, and we support people whose needs and life experiences are as varied as the individuals themselves. We work with adults living with learning disabilities, autism, and physical disabilities, as well as younger adults who need a place that genuinely feels like home rather than simply a place to stay. We also offer respite care for those who need a shorter term arrangement, whether that is to give family carers a break or to help someone through a period of change. We are proud that our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission resulted in a rating of Good across the board. That matters to us, not because of what it looks like on paper, but because it reflects the kind of care we try to provide every single day. We do not think of good practice as something you perform for an inspection; it is simply how we go about our work. What we aim to offer is an environment where people feel safe, listened to, and respected. We take the time to understand what matters to each person, how they like to spend their time, what makes them comfortable, and what they want for their future. Support looks different for everyone here, and we would not have it any other way. Sudbury is a welcoming town and we make the most of everything it has to offer, encouraging the people we support to stay connected to their community in whatever way feels right for them. If you are looking for care for yourself or someone you love, we would genuinely welcome the chance to have a conversation. Please do get in touch and come and see us for yourself.
