About Yaxley House
Here at Yaxley House, we are a residential care home nestled in the market town of Eye in Suffolk. We support older people who need a safe, comfortable and caring place to call home, whether that is on a long term residential basis or for a shorter respite stay. We know that choosing a care home is one of the biggest decisions a family can make, and we do not take that lightly. From the moment someone steps through our door, we want them to feel at ease. Our team takes the time to get to know each person as an individual, understanding their routines, their preferences and what matters most to them in daily life. Good care, in our view, is built on genuine relationships and quiet consistency rather than grand gestures. Our specialisms cover older person care, residential care and respite care. For those joining us for a short break, we aim to make the transition as smooth and comfortable as possible, both for the person staying with us and for their family at home. For permanent residents, we focus on creating a warm, homely atmosphere where people feel settled and valued over the long term. We are pleased to have received a rating of Good from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the honest effort our team puts in day to day. We are always looking at how we can do things better, and we welcome feedback from residents and their loved ones as a normal part of how we work. If you are considering Yaxley House for yourself or someone close to you, we would warmly encourage you to come and visit. There is no substitute for seeing a place for yourself and having a proper conversation with our team. We are always happy to help.
