About SENSE - 30 Norbins Road
Here at SENSE on Norbins Road, we are a residential care home nestled in the heart of Glastonbury, Somerset, and we are proud to support the people who live with us every single day. We specialise in supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism, as well as those living with visual and hearing impairments. We understand that each person who comes through our door has their own story, their own preferences, and their own way of experiencing the world. That understanding shapes everything we do, from how we communicate with the people we support to how we plan their days and mark the moments that matter to them. Our team works closely with residents and their families to make sure that life here feels genuinely personal. We take the time to get to know people properly, not just their care needs, but what makes them laugh, what they look forward to, and what helps them feel settled and safe. For those joining us on a shorter stay through our respite provision, we work just as hard to make the transition comfortable and familiar from the very beginning. We are pleased that our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission resulted in an overall rating of Good. That outcome reflects the effort our whole team puts in, and it gives families reassurance when they are making what can often be a difficult decision. Glastonbury itself is a wonderful place to be based. The town has a real sense of community, and we enjoy being part of it. If you would like to find out more about life here, or if you are exploring options for yourself or someone you care about, we would very much welcome a conversation. Please do get in touch and come and see us.
