About Greenview
We are a residential care home in this part of the West Midlands, supporting older people and younger adults who need help with daily life, including people living with mental health needs. We run the place as a household rather than a service, with people keeping their own belongings, their own routines and a real say in how the day goes. For many of the people who live with us, what helps most is steadiness. A settled house, staff who are the same from week to week, and a routine that does not keep shifting will do more good than any particular technique. We help with personal care, meals, medication and the practical business of daily life, and we try to keep the focus on what somebody can still do rather than on what has become harder. Respite stays are available, whether to give a family carer a genuine break or to let somebody try the home for a short period before making a longer decision. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We would far rather a resident or relative raised a concern while it was still small, so we ask regularly and we act on what we hear. You would be very welcome to visit, look round and meet the people who live and work here.
