About Respite Centre
Here at Shropshire Respite Centre, we provide residential and respite care for older adults, younger adults and those living with dementia, right in the heart of Market Drayton, Shropshire. We are proud to be a genuine part of this community, and we work hard every day to make sure the people who come to us feel genuinely welcomed, comfortable and well looked after. We understand that choosing care, whether for yourself or for someone you love, is not a decision anyone takes lightly. That is why we take the time to get to know each person as an individual, understanding their preferences, their routines and the things that matter most to them. Care is not one size fits all, and we never treat it that way. Our respite care provision is something we feel strongly about. We know that family carers sometimes need a break, and that the person coming to stay with us deserves an experience that feels warm and homely rather than clinical or unfamiliar. We put a lot of thought into making sure short stays are just as settled and personal as longer term placements. For those living with dementia, we create an environment that feels calm and familiar, with a team that communicates with patience and genuine understanding. For younger adults in our care, we take the time to make sure our approach feels appropriate to who they are and where they are in life. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission and welcome any questions about our current rating or inspection history. If you would like to find out more about what we offer, or simply want to come and have a look around, please do get in touch. We are always happy to have a conversation and help you find the right fit.
