About FitzRoy - Teddington
Here at FitzRoy in Teddington, we offer residential care for a range of people across different stages and circumstances of life. We are part of the Richmond upon Thames area of Surrey, and we are proud to be rooted in this community, caring for people who matter to those around them. We support older people, younger adults, and individuals with learning disabilities or autism, and we also offer respite care for those who need a short break from their usual arrangements. We understand that coming into a care home, whether for a short stay or a longer term, can feel like a significant step. Our aim is to make that transition feel as straightforward and as comfortable as possible, both for the person moving in and for the people who love them. Day to day, we try to create an environment where people feel genuinely at home rather than simply looked after. That means taking the time to understand what matters to each individual, how they like to spend their time, what brings them comfort, and what they want their life to look like while they are with us. We do not think in terms of a one size fits all approach, because no two people are the same. We are pleased that our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission resulted in an overall rating of good. This reflects the consistent effort that goes into how we work, but we also know there is always more we can do, and we do not treat that rating as a reason to become complacent. If you are thinking about care for yourself or for someone close to you, we would welcome the chance to have a conversation. Please do get in touch and we will do our best to help you understand whether FitzRoy Teddington might be the right fit.
