About Enstone House
Here at Enstone House, we provide residential and dementia care for older people in the heart of Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire. We also offer respite care for those who need a short term stay, whether that is to recover after a period of illness or to give family carers a much needed break. We know that moving into a care home, or choosing one for someone you love, is one of the biggest decisions a family can face. We do not take that lightly. Our aim is to make Enstone House feel like a genuine home, where residents are treated as individuals and where the people who matter to them are always made to feel welcome. For those living with dementia, we work hard to create an environment that feels calm, familiar and safe. We take time to learn about each person's history, preferences and routines, because we believe that understanding someone's life is just as important as understanding their care needs. We are proud to be part of the Chipping Norton community, and many of our team members live locally. That connection matters to us. It means we are not just a building people pass by but a place that genuinely belongs here. We want to be straightforward with you. Our most recent CQC rating is "requires improvement", and we are taking that seriously. We have been working through the feedback carefully and making real changes where they are needed. We are committed to being open about where we are on that journey and to keeping families informed as things progress. If you would like to find out more, we would encourage you to come and visit us and see Enstone House for yourself. We are always happy to show you around and answer any questions you may have.
