About Lynfield
Here at Lynfield, we are a residential care home based in the heart of Bungay, Norfolk, and we are proud to support a wide range of people across our community. We offer care for older adults, younger adults, people living with learning disabilities or autism, and those who need a short break through respite care. We know that choosing a care home, whether for yourself or someone you love, is one of the biggest decisions a family can face. We do not take that lightly. Our aim is straightforward: to make sure every person who comes through our doors feels safe, respected, and genuinely at home. We take time to understand each individual, their routines, their preferences, and what matters most to them day to day. Our team works hard to create an environment where people can live as independently as possible while having the right level of support around them. We believe that good care is built on honest relationships, consistency, and listening, and we put that into practice every day. We are transparent about where we are as a setting. Our most recent CQC inspection resulted in an overall rating of requires improvement, and we want to be open about that. We have taken that feedback seriously and have been working with focus and commitment to address the areas identified. Progress is being made, and we welcome scrutiny because it helps us improve for the people in our care. Lynfield sits in a community we genuinely feel part of. Bungay is a town with a real sense of character, and we feel fortunate to be here.
