About Pear Tree House Care Home
Here at Pear Tree House, we are a care home based in Preston, Lancashire, offering a warm and genuinely homely environment for the people who live with us. We take pride in knowing our residents as individuals, understanding their histories, preferences and personalities, and making sure that day to day life here feels comfortable and familiar rather than clinical or institutional. We support a wide range of needs under one roof. Our team is experienced in older person care and residential care, as well as supporting people living with dementia, those with a physical disability, and younger adults who require care and support. We also offer respite care for those who need a short term stay, whether that is to allow a family carer some time to rest or to provide support following a period of illness or recovery. Whatever brings someone to us, we aim to make the transition as straightforward and reassuring as possible. Dementia care is an area we take particularly seriously. We understand how important consistency, familiar faces and a calm environment are for people living with dementia, and we work hard to provide exactly that. Families can take comfort in knowing their loved ones are in a place where they are truly known and looked after. We believe good care comes from good relationships, and that means being open and communicative with residents and their families at every stage. We welcome visits, encourage family involvement, and always want to hear how we can do better. Our home has not yet received a formal overall rating from the Care Quality Commission, but we welcome scrutiny and are committed to operating to a high standard every single day. If you would like to find out more or arrange a visit, please do get in touch. We would love to show you around.
