About The Yachtsman Care Home
Here at The Yachtsman Care Home, we are proud to be part of the Fleetwood community in Lancashire, offering a warm and welcoming place that our residents genuinely call home. We provide residential care, dementia care, respite care and older person care, meaning we are well placed to support a wide range of needs as they change over time. Whether someone is joining us for a short stay to recover or rest, or making The Yachtsman their permanent home, we aim to make that transition as smooth and comfortable as possible for both the individual and their family. Our team works hard to get to know each resident properly, not just their care needs but their preferences, their routines, the things that bring them comfort and the things that make them smile. That kind of familiarity takes time to build, and we think it is one of the most important things we offer. Good care is built on genuine relationships and on actually listening to the people we support. We were pleased to receive a rating of Good from the Care Quality Commission, and we see that as both an encouragement and a reminder to keep improving. It reflects the effort our staff put in every day and the standards we hold ourselves to as a team. Fleetwood is a town with real character, and we think The Yachtsman reflects that. We are not a faceless setting. We are a place where familiar faces greet you at the door, where family members are always welcome, and where the day to day experience of living here genuinely matters to us. If you would like to find out more or arrange a visit, we would be very happy to hear from you.
