About Hillside
Here at Hillside, we offer residential care for a range of people across different stages of life and with varying needs. Based in Burnley, Lancashire, we are proud to be part of this community and to provide a place where people can feel genuinely at home. We support older adults, younger adults, and people living with a learning disability or autism, as well as those experiencing mental health difficulties. We also provide respite care for people who need a short break from their usual living arrangements, whether that is to give family carers some breathing space or simply to try something different in a supported environment. What matters most to us is that every person who comes through our doors is treated as an individual. We take time to understand what people enjoy, what they find difficult, and how they like their day to look. Care plans are built around the person, not the other way around, and we regularly review these to make sure they still reflect what someone needs and wants. Our team works hard to create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We believe that feeling safe and comfortable is the foundation of everything else, and we try to foster a sense of community within Hillside so that people genuinely feel they belong here rather than simply reside here. We know that choosing a care home, whether for yourself or someone close to you, is a significant decision. We welcome visits and conversations at any stage of that process, and we are always happy to answer questions or show you around so you can get a real feel for who we are. If you would like to find out more about life at Hillside or discuss whether we might be the right fit, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
