About Clifton Gardens Resource Centre
Clifton Gardens Resource Centre is a residential care home in Hounslow, west London. We provide residential care and respite stays, and the respite side of what we do is a real part of our purpose rather than an afterthought. A planned short stay gives a family carer a genuine break and lets the person get to know us gradually instead of arriving in a crisis. We support people living with dementia, where a recognisable daily pattern, familiar staff and an unhurried approach do most of the work. We support people living with mental ill health, working alongside the community mental health teams so that what happens here fits with the rest of somebody's care. We also support people with physical disabilities, where equipment, seating, transfers and access decide how much independence somebody actually has, and people living with sight or hearing loss, where announcing ourselves clearly and giving information in a usable form is part of the job. Every plan is written with the individual and reviewed properly. Food is cooked here and, in a borough as varied as this one, we ask about tastes and dietary and religious requirements rather than assuming. Visitors are welcome without appointment. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please arrange to visit and see how we work.
