About Freegrove Care Home
Here at Freegrove Care Home, we are proud to be part of the Lymington community in the heart of Hampshire. We provide residential care for older people, including specialist support for those living with dementia, as well as respite care for those who need a short term stay while they or their families take a breath and regroup. We know that choosing a care home is one of the most significant decisions a family can make, and we do not take that lightly. From the very first conversation, we try to make the process as straightforward and reassuring as possible. We want people to feel genuinely at home here, not just settled in, but comfortable, known, and valued as individuals. Our team takes the time to understand each resident's history, preferences and routines. For those living with dementia, that familiarity matters enormously. We work to create an environment that feels calm and consistent, where people can move through their days with as much independence and dignity as possible. Lymington is a wonderful place to be based. The town has a real sense of community, and we enjoy being a part of it. Whether that means residents connecting with what is happening locally or simply benefiting from the peaceful, coastal surroundings, the location genuinely adds something to life here. We were pleased to receive a "good" rating from the Care Quality Commission at our most recent inspection. It reflects what we hear from residents and their families, that this is a place where people are listened to and looked after properly. If you are considering care for yourself or someone you love, we would warmly encourage you to come and visit us. A conversation over a cup of tea is always the best place to start.
