About Croft Manor Residential Home
Croft Manor Residential Home is a care home in Fareham, Hampshire, providing residential care to older people and to younger adults who need support with everyday life. We are not a large institution and we do not try to run like one. People keep their own routines here as far as they possibly can, which means breakfast when you wake rather than when a trolley arrives, and a day shaped around what you actually enjoy. We support a number of people living with dementia and a number of people living with mental health conditions. In both cases we have found that patience and familiarity do more good than any amount of process. Our staff tend to stay with us, which means that people living here are looked after by faces they recognise, and that continuity is worth a great deal when memory or mood is unreliable. Families are part of the picture rather than visitors to be managed. You are welcome to come when it suits you, to join us for a meal, and to tell us when you think we have got something wrong. Respite stays are available for people who need care for a short period, whether that is to give a family carer a rest or to allow someone to recover after illness. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please do call if you would like to arrange a look round.
