About Valley Lodge Care Home
Here at Valley Lodge Care Home, we are based in Eastleigh, Hampshire, and we provide residential care, dementia care and respite care for older people in a warm and welcoming environment. We understand that choosing a care home for yourself or someone you love is one of the most significant decisions a family can make. Our team works hard every day to ensure that the people living with us feel genuinely at home, with their routines, preferences and wellbeing at the centre of everything we do. We take the time to get to know each person as an individual, because good care cannot be delivered in a one size fits all way. Our dementia care provision is something we put a great deal of thought into. We know that living with dementia brings its own unique challenges, and we aim to create an atmosphere that feels calm, familiar and reassuring for residents and their families alike. We also offer respite care for those who need a short term stay, whether that is to give a family carer some time to rest or to support recovery after a period of illness. We welcome respite residents with the same care and attention as those who live with us permanently. We want to be straightforward about where we are on our journey. Our most recent Care Quality Commission rating identified areas where we need to improve, and we have taken that feedback seriously. We are actively working through the steps needed to raise our standards, and we welcome that accountability. Families deserve honesty, and we would rather be open about our progress than paper over the cracks. If you would like to visit us or have a conversation about whether Valley Lodge could be the right fit for your family, please do get in touch. We are always happy to talk.
