About Emmanuel Care Services

Emmanuel Care is a residential care home in Greenwich supporting adults with a learning disability, autistic adults and people with mental health needs. We are a house rather than an institution, and the people living here have a real say in how their home is run, from what is on the shopping list to how the week is arranged. Because the needs here are varied, support is planned one person at a time. Some residents want help with most of the day; others need very little practical help but rely on us for routine, encouragement and staff who understand how they communicate and what a difficult day looks like for them. We take our time working that out, and we listen to the people who know a person best. For residents with mental health needs, a calm and predictable household does more good than anything else, and we work closely with local mental health services and doctors. Medication is managed carefully. We notice when something has shifted because we know people well, not because a form told us to check. Everyday life includes cooking, keeping your own room how you like it, going out locally and seeing the people who matter to you. Respite stays are available and give family carers a genuine break. If you would like to visit and see how the house works, please get in touch.
