Everyone here has their own routines, tastes, friendships and ambitions, so the week is built around the people who live here rather than around a rota. We take time to learn how each person tells us what they want and what they do not, including those who use few or no words, so that choices genuinely belong to them. We take that seriously and we work alongside families and other professionals rather than around them. Respite stays are available as well, which can give a family a planned break and give the person staying a change of scene and a taste of more independence.
