About Forest Home
Here at Forest Home, we are a residential care home based in Halstead, Essex, and we are proud to be a part of this close knit community. We support older people who need a safe, comfortable and caring place to call home, whether that is on a long term or short term basis. Our team provides residential care and respite care for older people, and we take time to get to know each person individually. We understand that moving into a care home, or arranging a short stay for a loved one, is a significant decision, and we do not take that lightly. Our aim is to make sure everyone who comes through our doors feels genuinely welcome and at ease from the very first day. Respite care is something we offer with real care and thought. We know that family carers sometimes need a break, and we want both the person staying with us and their family to feel confident and reassured throughout that time. We want to be honest with those who are considering Forest Home for themselves or someone they love. Our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated us as requiring improvement, and we have taken that feedback seriously. We have been working hard to make meaningful changes, and we are committed to being open about where we are on that journey. We believe families deserve straightforward information so they can make the right choice. Halstead is a town we feel genuinely connected to, and we value the relationships we have built with residents, families and local people over time. If you would like to find out more about what we offer or come and visit us, we would be very pleased to hear from you. Please do not hesitate to get in touch with our team directly.
