About Moulsham Home
Here at Moulsham Home, we provide residential care for a wide range of people in the heart of Chelmsford, Essex. We support older adults, younger adults, people living with dementia, those with learning disabilities or autism, and people with physical disabilities. We also offer respite care for those who need a short stay, whether that is to recover after a period of illness or to give family carers a well earned rest. We know that choosing a care home is one of the most significant decisions a family can make, and we do not take that responsibility lightly. Our aim is straightforward: to make sure that everyone who lives here feels genuinely at home, treated with dignity and listened to as an individual. We take the time to understand each person's history, preferences and routines, because good care starts with really knowing someone. We want to be honest with the people we support and their families. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission resulted in an overall rating of requires improvement, and we are working openly and purposefully to address the areas identified. We have put clear steps in place and are committed to making the improvements that our residents deserve. We believe that transparency matters, and we would rather have an honest conversation than paint an unrealistic picture. Our team works hard every day to provide care that is kind, consistent and responsive. We encourage residents to remain as independent as possible, to stay connected with the people they love, and to continue enjoying the things that matter to them.
