About Lyons Court Residential Care Home
Here at Lyons Court Residential Care Home in Chelmsford, Essex, we offer a genuine home from home for the people who live with us. We believe that good care starts with truly knowing each person, understanding their history, their preferences and what matters most to them day to day. We support a wide range of individuals, including older adults, younger adults, and those living with physical disabilities or visual and hearing impairments. We also offer respite care for those who need a short term stay, whether that is to recover after a period of illness or to give family carers a well earned break. Whatever brings someone to us, we aim to make the transition as smooth and as comfortable as possible. Our team works hard to create an atmosphere that feels warm and unhurried. We take the time to sit with residents, to listen, and to involve them in decisions about their own care. Families are always welcome here and we encourage them to remain as involved as they wish to be. We know how much it means to feel confident that your loved one is in safe hands, and we do not take that trust lightly. We are pleased that our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission resulted in a rating of Good, which we feel reflects the genuine commitment of everyone who works here. That said, we are always looking at how we can do better and we welcome feedback from residents and families as part of that process. If you are considering Lyons Court for yourself or for someone close to you, we would be very happy to have a conversation or arrange a visit. We find that coming to see us in person gives the clearest picture of who we are and how we work.
