That rating matters to us, but what matters more is that the people who live here feel safe, respected, and genuinely at home. We know that moving into a care home, or finding the right place for someone you love, is not a decision anyone takes lightly. We try to make that process as straightforward and honest as possible. When someone comes to visit us, we encourage them to ask questions, look around properly, and get a real sense of who we are before making any decisions. Life at Shaftesbury Anvil House is built around the individual. We take time to understand each person's history, preferences, and routines, because good care cannot be one size fits all.
