About Bosworth Care Home
Bosworth Care Home is a residential home in Weymouth providing care for older people, including those living with dementia and those with a physical disability or with sight or hearing loss. What we try to offer is a home where somebody is looked after properly without losing the run of their own day. People choose their routines as far as they can, keep their own belongings around them and are supported to carry on doing whatever they still manage for themselves. Staff help with washing and dressing, with transfers and moving safely, with medication and with meals and drinks. Where sight or hearing has declined, small and consistent adjustments make a very large difference, so we get those right and make sure everybody on the team works the same way. For people living with dementia we hold routines steady, keep surroundings familiar and pay attention to what somebody is telling us when words are no longer reliable. Meals are cooked on the premises with a genuine choice. There is company for those who want it and quiet for those who do not, and families are welcome to visit and stay involved. Respite and short stays can be arranged. If you would like to see the home, please telephone us and we will arrange a time.
