About Ponderosa
Here at Ponderosa, we provide residential care for adults in the heart of Doncaster, and we take real pride in the community we have built within our home. We support a range of individuals, including younger adults living with learning disabilities or autism, those with visual or hearing impairments, and people who need short term respite care. Every person who comes through our door has a different story, different strengths, and different needs, and we work hard to make sure our support reflects that. We do not believe in a one size fits all approach. We take the time to get to know each person properly, understanding what matters most to them in their daily life and building care around that. Our team genuinely cares about the people we support. That shows in the small things as much as the big ones, whether that is making sure someone starts their morning the way they like it, or working closely with families to keep them informed and involved. We want relatives to feel confident and reassured, knowing their loved one is in a place where they are respected and looked after properly. We are pleased that our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us as Good. That reflects the hard work of our staff and the trust that residents and their families place in us, and we do not take that lightly. We continue to look at how we can do things better and make sure the standard of care remains consistently high. If you are considering Ponderosa for yourself or a loved one, we would love to hear from you. We are always happy to have a conversation, show you around, and answer any questions you might have. We want you to feel at ease from the very first moment you contact us.
