About Lyndale Residential Home
At Lyndale Residential Home, we provide a warm and supportive environment for the people who live with us here in Tavistock, Devon. Our work centres on residential care, mental health support and respite care, and we take real pride in getting to know each person as an individual rather than simply meeting a set of needs on a list. Tavistock is a wonderful place to call home, and we feel fortunate to be rooted in such a welcoming community. The town and the surrounding Devon countryside offer a sense of calm and familiarity that we think genuinely contributes to the wellbeing of the people in our care. We make the most of our local surroundings whenever we can, whether that means a familiar walk, a trip into town or simply enjoying the views from our garden. Mental health sits at the heart of much of what we do. We understand that living with a mental health condition can be complex and that the right environment makes an enormous difference. We work hard to ensure our home feels settled and reassuring, with consistent staff who build genuine relationships with residents over time. For those joining us on a respite basis, we want the experience to feel just as personal and comfortable as it does for our long term residents. A short stay should still feel like a proper home, not a temporary arrangement. We are pleased that our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated us as good, and we see that as an honest reflection of the care we provide day to day. We are always looking at how we can do better and we welcome feedback from residents, families and anyone else with an interest in how we run. If you would like to find out more about Lyndale Residential Home, we would be very happy to hear from you.
