Here at Arthur, we are a residential care home based in Ivybridge, Devon, and we are proud to support the people who live with us to lead fulfilling, comfortable lives in a place that genuinely feels like home. We support adults with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments. We also offer respite care for those who need a short break stay, whether that is planned in advance or arranged at short notice. Whatever brings someone to us, we aim to make sure they feel welcomed, respected, and well looked after from the very first moment. Our team takes the time to get to know each person individually, understanding not just their care needs but also their preferences, routines, interests, and the things that matter most to them day to day. We were pleased to receive a rating of Good from the Care Quality Commission at our most recent inspection, and we take that responsibility seriously. We do not see it as a destination but as a reflection of the everyday effort our team puts in, and something we continually work to build on. Ivybridge is a lovely part of Devon, and we make the most of everything the local area has to offer, encouraging people to stay connected to their community and to enjoy life beyond our front door as well as within it.
