About Ashton Lodge
At Ashton Lodge, we offer a warm and homely environment where older people can feel genuinely comfortable, safe and well looked after. We are based in Dunstable, Central Bedfordshire, and we are proud to support the local community by providing residential care, dementia care and respite care to older adults. We understand that choosing a care home is one of the most significant decisions a family can face. That is why we take the time to get to know each person who comes through our doors, learning about their life, their preferences and what matters most to them day to day. Care here is personal, and we make sure it stays that way. Our team supports people living with dementia with patience and understanding, creating a calm and familiar atmosphere that helps residents feel at ease. For those who need a short break or a period of respite care, we work hard to make sure the transition is as comfortable as possible, whether that stay becomes a longer arrangement or not. We also recognise how important it is for families to feel reassured. We welcome relatives to be involved in their loved one's care, and we encourage open, honest conversations so that everyone feels informed and included. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission resulted in an overall rating of good, which reflects the effort and commitment of everyone who works here. We do not take that lightly, and we continue to look at how we can improve and develop what we offer. If you are considering Ashton Lodge for yourself or someone you care about, we would be very happy to have a conversation or arrange a visit. We believe the best way to understand what we are about is simply to come and see us.
