About Riverview Lodge
Here at Riverview Lodge, we are a care home based in Brent, London, providing residential care, respite care and specialist support for older people. We are proud to have received a "Good" rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the standard of care we work hard to maintain every day. We understand that choosing a care home is one of the most significant decisions a person and their family can make. It is rarely straightforward, and we take that responsibility seriously. Our aim is to make sure that everyone who comes through our doors feels genuinely at home, respected and well looked after, whether they are joining us for a longer term stay or coming to us for a period of respite. Respite care is something we offer with a great deal of thought and care. We know that for some people it is their first experience of living in a care setting, and we do our best to make that transition as comfortable as possible. For families and carers who need a period of rest, we want them to feel confident that their loved one is in good hands. For those with us on a permanent basis, daily life at Riverview Lodge is shaped around individual routines, preferences and personalities. We believe strongly that good care is personal. It involves listening, being consistent and building genuine trust with the people we support and with their families. We are part of the Brent community and that matters to us. We welcome families to stay involved and visit freely, and we maintain close links with local health professionals to make sure our residents receive joined up support. If you would like to find out more about life at Riverview Lodge or arrange a visit, we would be very happy to hear from you.
