About Trinity House Annexe
Trinity House Annexe is a residential care home in Barnet supporting people living with mental health conditions. We are not a large institution and we do not try to run like one. People keep their own routines as far as they can, which means getting up when you wake rather than when a rota says so, and a day shaped around what a person actually wants from it. The support covers washing and dressing, medication, meals cooked here, money and paperwork, and the practical things that become difficult when somebody is unwell. We have found that a calm and predictable household achieves more than any particular intervention. Our staff tend to stay with us, which means people here are supported by faces they know, and that steadiness counts for a great deal when mood is unreliable. We do not treat a difficult week as a failure, and we do not withdraw when things get harder. People are supported to get out, to keep up with what they care about, and to stay connected to family and friends. Short respite stays are available. Our most recent rating from the Care Quality Commission is good.
