About Kemble House
Kemble House is a residential care home in Barnet, north London, supporting adults with a learning disability, autistic adults and adults living with mental health needs. This is somebody's home before it is anything else. The people who live here have their own routines, tastes, friendships and plans, and our role is to make those possible rather than to run everyone to a single timetable. Support might mean help with personal care, medication and health appointments, a hand with cooking, budgeting and laundry, or company on a bus journey, at a college course, at work or on a visit to family. We take time to learn how each person communicates a preference, a worry or a refusal, so that choices are genuinely theirs. We also offer respite stays, which can give families a break and give the person staying a change of scene and a taste of living a little more independently.
