About Secure Healthcare
Secure Healthcare provides care and support in people's own homes across Wolverhampton. We work with older adults, younger adults, people living with dementia, people with learning disabilities and autistic people, people with physical disabilities or with loss of sight or hearing, and people living with mental health conditions. Home care sounds simple and is not. It depends on reliability above almost everything else, because someone waiting to be helped out of bed cannot simply do something else for an hour. We plan our rotas around that reality and we would rather take on less work than take on more than we can cover properly. The support itself ranges from short calls for prompting and safety checks through to several longer visits a day covering personal care, medication, meals and company. We agree it with the person, put it in writing they can actually read, and revisit it when their situation changes. Where we support younger adults and people with learning disabilities, the emphasis shifts from care towards enabling. The point is getting to work, to college, to see friends and to run a home, with us doing only the parts that genuinely need doing for them. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please contact us if you would like to talk things through.
