About Care4U WE
Care4U provides support to people living in their own homes across Reading. We work with younger adults, adults with learning disabilities, autistic adults, people managing mental health conditions, and people working through difficulties with alcohol or drugs. Our work rests on consistency and an absence of judgement. A good many of the people we support have been let down before, sometimes repeatedly, and rebuilding that trust takes reliability and time rather than good intentions. We turn up when we said we would, we do not lecture, and we stay involved when things are difficult rather than only when they are going well. Beyond that, the point of our work is an ordinary life rather than a managed one. That means supporting people to run their own homes, to manage money and appointments, to get to work or college, and to see friends and family. We do the parts that genuinely need doing and leave the rest alone. We match staff to people with care and keep those teams small and steady. Our most recent rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please get in touch to talk about support in Reading.
