About Brookfield
Brookfield is a residential care home in Warrington providing care for older people who can no longer manage at home without support. We are a straightforward place. There is no great mission statement behind what we do beyond looking after people properly and letting them get on with their lives. Support here covers the everyday things: help with washing and dressing, prompting and administering medication, meals cooked on the premises, assistance with mobility, and somebody always about if a person needs them. People choose how much they want to join in. Some are in the lounge from breakfast onwards and some prefer their own room with the door open, and neither choice earns any comment from us. Warrington is home for most of the people living here, and we do what we can to keep that connection going, whether that means trips out, visits from local groups, or simply being flexible about when family can come. They can come whenever they like. We also take people for short respite stays. That is often useful when a family carer needs a break or when somebody is recovering their strength after being unwell. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. If you would like to see Brookfield, please ring us and come along.
