About Woodbury Manor
Woodbury Manor is a residential care home in Enfield providing a home for older people and for younger adults who need support with daily living, including people living with dementia. We offer permanent places and shorter respite stays. We work at the pace of the people who live here. Breakfast happens when somebody wakes rather than when a trolley comes round, and the day is shaped by what a person actually wants from it. The care covers washing and dressing, medication, meals cooked on the premises, support with mobility, and somebody always about when a person needs them. For those living with dementia we keep the routine steady and the staff familiar, and we arrange the house so that it is easy to understand and move around in. We take the view that behaviour is nearly always communication, and the useful question is what somebody is trying to tell us rather than how to stop it. Families are welcome whenever they want to come, and we would much rather hear a concern early than have it sit unspoken. Our most recent rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please ring us if you would like to arrange a visit.
